  • 1 Large pot for boiling spaghetti
  • 1 Colander for draining spaghetti
  • 1 Large frying pan or sauté pan
  • 1 Stirring spoon
  • 1 Knife for chopping

Ingredients
  

  • 500 g spaghetti
  • 2 large onions chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic chopped
  • 100 ml oil we used rapeseed
  • 3 tbsp italian seasoning
  • Chopped chili or powder to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Hot water for cooking spaghetti (see packet instructions for the amount)
  • 50 ml fresh lemon juice
  • Handful of fresh herbs e.g coriander or parsley to garnish

Instructions
 

  • Cook spaghetti as per the packet instructions. Drain in a colander and set aside.
  • In a pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté until it's slightly golden. Follow with onions, cooking until they're translucent and brown.
  • Stir in the chilli, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper and mix well to combine.
  • Add the cooked spaghetti to the pan, ensuring it's well-coated with the garlic and herb mixture.
  • Drizzle in the fresh lemon juice and toss once more to combine.
  • Plate the spaghetti, garnish, serve and enjoy!
